Zedu Weekly Wrap – 4 November 2022

November has landed…

Suean and Michael - Zedu Ultrasound

which down here traditionally means warmer, drier weather, barbecues getting cleaned up and thoughts turning to holidays.

Another big week of free ultrasound resources brought to you from around the world. Jeff Gadsden (@jeffgadsden) wrapped up #Blocktober with a retro Rock’n’Roll ending that David Lee Roth would be proud of (and with a small cameo from a couple of larrikin Aussies). Michal Gottlieb (@MGottliebMD) and Stephen Alerhand (@SAlerhand) have just released a paper ‘Managing Cardiac Arrest Using Ultrasound’ which is available free for the next 50 days. And Yale Tung Chan (@yaletung) has been doing some fun stuff on TikTok – check it out.

Plus – last night’s Coaching Corner on how to asses pain and bleeding in thy 1st trimester was a hot topic with a great turnout. The recording will be available soon – but if you can’t wait check out the back catalogue of free ultrasound training resources.

That’s it for the week – checking out now…

Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta! We’re running this internationally recognised course in Australia for the first time in July and October – don’t miss out.
