Zedu Weekly Wrap – 16 August 2024

Spring has almost sprung…

as the days are definitively starting to get longer and warmer. Can’t wait for the first BBQ of the year 🙂

While we wait for that first snag to hit the hot plate, we can whet the appetite with some tasty morsels in the form of ultrasound news. A huge variety this week, with honourable mentions to:

  • Amit Pawa (@amit_pawa) and Jeff Gadsden (@jeffgadsden) and the Block It Like It’s Hot Podcast (@BlockIt_Hot_Pod) (16 August)
  • International Alliance for #POCUS in #Nephrology (@POCUSIAPN) have released their position statement on POCUS (16 August)
  • Stephen Alerhand (@SAlerhand) and team have authored a paper on cardiac POCUS from an ED perspective (15 August)
  • Stuart Wildman (@swildmanphysio) talks all things ED musculoskeletal with Parmy Deol (@ParmyDeol) (13 August)

And check out the cool article on wearable ultrasound published in @Nature (10 August).

Better be off – gotta clean the BBQ apparently 🙂

Mike and Suean

P.S. – don’t forget – our ultrasound program calendar for 2025 is live now. Come visit – we’d love to see you here.
