Zedu Weekly Wrap - 2 August 2024

August has arrived…

as have the coldest days in many moons. Needless to say that the gel warmers have been on high all week 🙂

In Zedu news we’re excited to announce our involvement in a significant international project working with the faculty of University of Santo Tomas (Manila) that is focused on building point-of-care (POCUS) teaching capacity and expertise.

Approached as a recognised leader in practical ultrasound education, we’re working in partnership with the POCUS Certification Academy and Presuna on a multi-stage project that aims to ultimately deliver better healthcare services in the Philippines.

Stage one this long term program is focused on training and validating the POCUS expertise of UST faculty with the view to developing a cohort that can train the medical professionals of the future. We’re so proud to be involved in this amazing opportunity to deliver the best in ultrasound education and technology to a population that will see significant community benefits. We’ll keep you posted on how things develop.
