Zedu Weekly Wrap – 29 August 2025

And so – winter ends…

the days lengthen, the light brightens and the lawns are forever growing!! And we are warming up here too as we get ready to move into a new scanning space. Can’t wait.

Here’s a quick round-up of what’s been making headlines in the world of ultrasound this week! 🚀✨

  • Sonography has an interesting publication on “Sonographer Performed Vascular Access and Injection of Local Anaesthetic: A Clinical Audit of Peripherally Inserted Central and Midline Catheters” (26 August)
  • Intensive Care Medicine has a piece discussing “How we use ultrasound to support clinical decisions on fluid administration in critical ill patients” (25 August)
  • SJTRM has published research on “The role of serial point-of-care ultrasound during cardiac arrest to predict termination of resuscitation” (24 August)

Heading out to pull some weeds now! See you in Spring.

Mike and Suean

P.S. – remember to align your roster with our 2026 online calendar here.

Zedu - course calendar released to June 2026

Make 2026 your year of ultrasound and check out our range of
scheduled and one-on-one options that will get you scanning like a pro.

Plus – as the cultural capital of Australia – why not tie in a bit of training with a touch of AO tennis, speed through at the Melbourne GP or have a laugh at the International Comedy Festival.

If you know the value of protected learning time, secure your place early.

P.S. – don’t forget – if something doesn’t quite fit your learning objectives or availability we can design and deliver a program that meets your needs. Don’t tell everyone though – availability is limited.
