Zedu Weekly Wrap – 15 August 2025

Well, what a week!

It’s been a whirlwind here at Zedu HQ, buzzing with new course content and some seriously thought-provoking discussions across all forums.

We’ve been diving deep into everything from tricky abdominal and musculoskeletal scans to the latest in point-of-care ultrasound, and we’re buzzing with ideas for what to cover next. The course content is in a constant state of change – it’s a never ending quest for perfection!

Some of the team are teaching offsite this weekend, and others have been struck by influenza – I know what I’d rather be doing 🙁

But now, as the week winds down and the emails slow to a trickle, it’s time to put the probe down (just for a couple of days!) and see what’s been making headlines in the world of ultrasound this week!🚀✨

  • Amit Pawa continues to spread the word on regional anaestheisa – check out his latest videos (15 August)
  • Intensive Care Medicine Journal “How we use critical care ultrasonography in the management of cardiogenic shock: a strategic game of chess in intensive care” (14 August)
  • AJUM ft. Richard Gawel – “Emergency physician-performed ultrasound-guided nerve blocks: A scoping review of the published literature (13 August)

It’s been a big one, so we hope you get some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the weekend. Catch you on the flip side!

P.S. – dont fprget to check out dates for 2026 in the online calendar here.

Zedu - course calendar released to June 2026

Make 2026 your year of ultrasound and check out our range of
scheduled and one-on-one options that will get you scanning like a pro.

Plus – as the cultural capital of Australia – why not tie in a bit of training with a touch of AO tennis, speed through at the Melbourne GP or have a laugh at the International Comedy Festival.

If you know the value of protected learning time, secure your place early.

P.S. – don’t forget – if something doesn’t quite fit your learning objectives or availability we can design and deliver a program that meets your needs. Don’t tell everyone though – availability is limited.
